Walt Disney was the visionary, the man who took the risk, but his brother, Roy
Disney brought the dream to life.  Martin Luther King was the man with the
dream, but it was Ralph Abernathy, a man whose name has been long
forgotten, who stood up after Dr. King and told people what to do.  Bill Gates
was the WHY guy who imagined a PC on every desk, Bill Gates imagined a
world in which we would all be able to achieve our true potential.  But it was
Paul Allen, lurking in the shadows, who knew HOW to make it happen.
No matter how clear the vision, no matter how high the risk tolerance, a leader
is nothing with out the first person to stand-up to join.  For a movement to grow,
for an idea to spread and for a company to become something special...it takes
two. The dancer is WHY. The first follower is HOW.  When those two unite -
What Does Success Mean to You?  by RH Berg
What does success mean to you? In your 'mind's eye', what does being
successful really look and feel like? Ask a hundred people and I'm sure you'll
get a hundred different answers.
For me, there are days when I feel like the wealthiest, most syccessful man in
the world, cozily snuggled close with my sweet love, all warm and toasty on a
cold winters day, listening to Billie Holiday, sipping hot chocolate just being
present with each other or languishing the day away, with my sweetness, on a
hidden tropical beach far from the madding crowd. Then there are days when
I'm out of bed and ready to make my next million before noon.
Whatever picture of success you may have or whatever your definition of being
truly rich may be, rest assured, you can achieve it. There are, however, several
important ingredients to success and achieving real, tangible wealth. You must

Do You Know Why You Wrote Your Book? Will Your Book Inspire a
Reader?   by Darnella Cordier
Does your book propel people to take an action because they know WHY they
do what they do? What about you? Do you know WHY you do what you do?
Why you wrote your book? If, you wrote your book just for the money, think
again.
Successful books change lives because readers resonate with the beliefs you
write about in your book; whether your book is fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or a
children’s book. Books such as, As a Man Thinketh, by James Allen and The
Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles continue to achieve wide
readership and acclaim because these authors knew WHY they wrote their
book.
Simon O. Sinek, a marketing consultant known for developing "The Golden
Circle," a model based on human decision-making explains in his video “How
Great Leaders Inspire Action,” the reason it is paramount that you know your
WHY. He is the author of Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone
to Take Action.
Since your book is a product and a business, “The Golden Circle” model will
apply to you.
Know your WHY!
